Florida Gulf Coast University

James and Barbara Moore Observatory   Come watch the heavens at SW Florida's newest observatory, located at Edison Community College in Punta Gorda.  This site also gives you information on astronomy courses and free public observing sessions.

Manatee Community College

Port Charlotte Cultural Center   One of the most popular gathering places in Charlotte County.  The Cultural Center offers dozens of programs, most of which are particularly aimed at senior citizens.

The YMCA, located on the bay in Punta Gorda offers numerous programs for all ages, but particularly focuses on children.   Classes include camping, aquatics, leadership and many others.
