Regulations

The following regulations are for RV sites. Where applicable, Mobile home sites are similar.

The following regulations have been adopted for the protection and enjoyment of all tenants. Noncompliance of these regulations may result in the termination of your stay without refund of monies. Thank you for your cooperation.

Cable/Telephone - Cable and phone hookup is available, but you must call to have either cable or phone set up. Comcast cable - 941-639-1562. Embarq Phone Company - 866-304-6820

Cars - One RV and a maximum of two vehicles per site are allowed (in both the mobile home and RV sections of the park). You must park your vehicles on your own site - but not on the cement patio. The speed limit within the park is 15 miles per hour. Pedestrians, bicycles and golf carts have the right of way. All vehicles shall be parked off the roadway area.

Clubhouse - The clubhouse is open from 7am through 10 pm. See the schedule of events for times. Major events are held in the clubhouse. Bathing suits are not allowed in the clubhouse.

Mini Hall - The mini hall is located behind the office and is open from 7 am through 10 pm. Card games, pool, and small meetings are held here. Bathing suits are not allowed in the mini hall

Multi Purpose Building - The multipurpose building is located on Trout east of the swimming pool. The building contains the library with 4 high speed internet connections, mail room, laundry and Men's and Ladies showers. Bathing suits are not allowed except in the showers.

Departure - Check out time is 10:00 am. Please adhere to this rule as we have other people scheduled for that same lot on the same day as your departure.

E-Mail/Internet Connection - There are four high speed internet connections in the library. If someone is waiting, all should respect others and limit their time on line.

Electric - One electric cord per unit is allowed. Because of underground utilities, please do not dig without Management's permission. Notify the office one day prior to your day of permanent departure (if your stay is over 27 nights). We will then read your electrical meter to determine the electrical usage incurred during your stay plus a $6.00 per month meter maintenance fee. Payment is expected before you depart. Check out time is 10:00am.

Faxing and Photocopies - The office has a fax and copy machine available for you. There is a fee of $1.00 per page to send a fax. Photocopying is available for $0.25 per page.

Fires - No ground fires are allowed in the park.

Gas - LP gas is delivered on Thursdays, November through March. You can get a "Need Propane" sign from the office

Laundry - There is a laundry room located in the multipurpose building. It is open 24 hours a day. The cost is $1.25 to wash and $.50 to dry. Clotheslines are allowed, but only at the rear of your RV. Portable lines must be taken down after every use. No clotheslines are allowed on Sundays.

Mail - There are mail boxes for each RV site located in the multipurpose building. All guests must be registered at the office for mail delivery (State Law). There is a $15.00 deposit required for a mail box key. refundable upon returning the key to the office before departure. You can have your mail sent to you at Alligator Park. Address it to - Your Name, Alligator Park, 6400 Taylor Road (your lot number), Punta Gorda, Fl. 33950.

Pets - We do not allow vicious or ill-tempered dogs. Only one dog per unit is permitted. All pets must be licensed and we must have a copy of the license and immunizations in the office. The height requirement for dogs is 20 inches in height from shoulder to the ground at maturity. Pets must be kept on a leash or confined at all times. You must not leave your pet unattended; this means whether your pet is inside your RV or tied up outside. No pets (walked or carried) are allowed in the Clubhouse or pool area. All pet droppings in any area of the park must be picked up promptly by the pet owner and disposed of in a sanitary manner.

Phone Calls - Only emergency phone calls shall be delivered (accident or death) to your site. There is a pay phone located inside the screen room at the pool.

Pool - The pool hours are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. You must wear a swimsuit in the pool - no cut-offs are allowed. There are showers available in the multipurpose building to shower off before using the pool. No suntan lotion can be used in the pool. If you have applied suntan lotion, you must shower before using the pool. The pool area is a no-smoking area.

RV Sites - No tents are allowed. RV units shall not be rented loaned or used by anyone, for any purpose, other than original tenants without management approval. All site rentals are based on two or less occupants. There is a charge of $3.00 per day, per person(s) for all overnight guests. All guests must be registered and paid for at the office on the day of arrival. Please notify the office if you are going to be out of the park overnight or longer. If you are departing early, for any reason, the site is considered "abandoned" and no money will be refunded unless there is proven medical emergency.

Showers - There is a man's and a woman's shower located in the multi purpose building.

Trash - Charlotte Sanitation picks up trash on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There is a dumpster located to the west of the water plant, (approximately across from the clubhouse) which you may use to deposit trash.

Water and Sewer - Each sewer hose must have a rubber dollar. Dumping wastewater on the ground is prohibited.
